Our one on one individualised, friendly, relaxed beginner and intermediate guitar lessons focus on your goals and musical aspirations, whether they be to:

play your favourite songs or a song of your dreams;

improve your soloing, rhythm or acoustic technique; or

learn how to write songs and record your ideas

Forget about overpriced group lessons, onerous contracts and hard-sell marketing we provide the flexibility to learn when it suits you and develop your own style at your own pace.
Lessons include electric acoustic and bass guitar, reading tabs or notation, exploring alternate tunings, rhythm and lead playing, practical theory, improving your technique, songwriting and demoing, or playing songs of your choosing in the style of your choice (including but not limited to Rock, Pop, Metal, Acoustic, Electric Punk, Alternative, Grunge, Classic Rock, Country, and Blues).
Lessons are available weekdays, evenings, and weekends—Beginners Welcome!
“At the age of 40 I decided to once again pick up the guitar, something I had played a bit as a teenager. After a couple of years using books or the internet to learn, I found myself in a rut and frustrated. My playing was not really improving and usually just played the same songs every night.
As with a fitness personal trainer, I needed a coach who continue to challenge me, whilst guiding me with correct form and a structured approach to learning.
During my first lesson Peter took the time to listen to what I wanted to achieve with my playing and has continued to structured my lessons around this. Since beginning weekly lessons with Peter, I have broken a lot of my bad habits, improved my technique and he is teaching me the theory behind navigating the fretboard. In less than six months I have learnt to play things that I had struggled with for years prior.
Peter is an awesome guitarist, it would be easy to be overwhelmed in his company, but his enthusiasm for teaching is very evident and I often feel that he is as excited to be in each lesson as I am.
His studio is a great environment for the lessons and his relaxed approach helps me to focus on the job at hand.
I would have absolutely no hesitation at all in recommending Peter to others wanting to become better guitarists.
